Tell TCP What You Are Doing!

So I feel like a Facebook troll and social media snoop, but alas, that is the nature of my business because that is the only way I find out things that are happening, unless of course, someone tells me. (hint hint)

Trolling around this morning on the TCP Facebook page, I saw some interesting things on my feed that I would like to share.

First, a young woman that I did an interview with, Aissa Torres, is shooting a new music video for her new to be released song, “Secret“, featuring  TNT Tha Nasty Tone, of the hit “Lime and Coke“. This is something I am personally looking forward to because I happen to enjoy this song and these artists greatly. They are both from the Central Florida area and are doing very well with their music so shout outs to them for their video plans this weekend.

Second,  there is a feature coming up with an incredibly talented artist named Devin Tracy,  from NY, who’s sound is unlike anything I have heard before and to be honest, I am chomping at the bit to get this feature because I know his time is coming soon, like real soon, and then the line to interview this artist will be out the door. If you haven’t checked him out yet, you should.

Third, the ASCAP I Create Music Expo is coming and if you want to make connections,  this is the place to be at. The official site, if you click on the link, says:  The 11th Annual ASCAP “I Create Music” EXPO announces new additions to its program, including a blockbuster lineup for the keynote “We Create Music” panel on Thursday, April 28. Grammy and ASCAP award-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge, Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley, chart-topping “Cheerleader” songwriter OMI and Grammy-winning songwriter Dan Wilson (Adele’s “Someone Like You”) join previously announced multi-platinum songwriter, solo artist and Matchbox Twenty frontman Rob Thomas and “King of Reality TV” composer David Vanacore to give attendees an inside look at their individual paths to songwriting success. The 2016 ASCAP “I Create Music” EXPO takes place April 28 – 30, 2016 at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles. The ASCAP EXPO also announces that groundbreaking folk singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega(“Luka,” “Tom’s Diner”) will perform at the opening night “Writers in the Round” show on Thursday, April 28; and hit-making duo R. City (“Locked Away,” Miley Cyrus’s “We Can’t Stop”) will join the closing day “Writers Jam” on Saturday, April 30. You can register for the event here.

Last, there is a MindSpring Music Festival coming up in Saint Augustine, FL, which I heard is absolutely beautiful. That is on April 16-17th at the St. John Fairgrounds. For the full line up of artists, click here.

Indie Artists, yeah you, what do you have going on or know of that is coming up? TCP is always willing to listen and help you post about your events, news, music releases, videos, etc. Remember what I said in the last blog post, when opportunity knocks, open up and let it in! Til next time! – Jilli
